if this happend all of a sudden i'd suspect a tire issue.

 

1. Vibration at take off is inner CV joint
2. Vibration at high speeds is either balance/out of round tire/bent rim/engine mounts/transmission mounts/bad hub bearing.......

 

Car has 4 new tires and balanced out perfect at discount (I watched them balance on first try). It’s not that bad but enough to annoy me, off throttle it stops completely. My gut says mounts.

 

If it is mounts, it will happen in neutral/park, right? Does it?

 

Not necessarily, if they’re aren’t totally shot they act up only under a load. I was just curious if this was common and anyone had an idea right off. This Monday and Tuesday I’m off work so I will do some probing and report back. Does anyone have a schematic of the motor mount locations?

Maybe you mean 'not rolling' cause how is it loaded when it's not in gear?
He can ask someone to see if engine moves alot while pedal brake is pressed and he shift from D to R

 

I think from an engineering standpoint, (and at least this instance) high RPM would be under load. Now that I think of it, though, the tranny mounts can enter into it.

I would think of a car being in gear as high resistance (with AC on, too)

I too have have an 06 Avalon and i notice small engine vibrations(almost like it rocks back and forth) around 1700RPM but then above that engine runs like butter. Also I had a flat one time and replaced it with the space and my car would vibrate at any speed. And lastly I had bad experience with Discount they efed up steering rack and it started leaking. My advice is to buy tires online and have dealer install and balance. Sorry for my English
