2004 Sequoia - took transfer case actuator off and cleaned off grease covering the contacts. Also turned vehicle on with actuator plugged in but not bolted back down to see if the motor spun. The 4 green 4wd lights and center orange light blinked continuously. Now this does this non stop since reinstalling. I believe everything is put back together correctly. Suspect I need to clear or reset the 4wd computer that's behind the glove box. Anyone know a reset process to clear that computer. Can't clear and no codes via OBD scan. Have heard that 4wd ecu could need reset but not sure how to do so. Have also read that the 4wd isnt in techstream either.

I have same issue. Replaced the front actuator and the middle actuator but now instead of being in 4 wheel drive it’s in rwd and 4lo 4hi lights still flashing. Stealership ran on computer before I replaced and said this was the issue. However they wanted $5000 to fix. I had another shop replace the front actuator and no help. So I replaced the middle actuator. Heard the motor turn on inside and thought great it worked, but no it didn’t. Lights still flashing. About ready to push this thing off a cliff!

I got mine back to just the center orange light flashing by taking off the actuator and spinning the worm gear and reattaching. Now my 4 green wheel lights are solid. Still not engaging/disengaging. Unfortunately have to give up, will be trading it in. Seems like there's also a frame/rust issue that there isn't a remedy for outside of a new frame.
