Is this an automatic or manual transmission? ;)

You might want to give the owner's manual a visit to see if yer supposed to go in reverse with 4H engaged. Have you tried going in reverse while in 4L?

You can register on the Toyota Owner's site and download/read the owner's manual... ;)
