Hi long story short someone swiped bumper corner, car needs paintjob. I wanted a quick cheap project. Stock original fogs from dealer are almost non existent or over $100, and I wanted a budget for a challenge. I was hoping for some opinions. I just started this, rough cuts. Thanks to the forums and members adalex, skuttduck, O_loung1 for resource details. Project in progress, its a dry fit they slid in with a tight fit are just wedged to get an iDea of how it looks. Bezel or no bezel? The problem I have with no bezel is it will sit too far foward, damage from road debris. Thanks

I prefer to have a bezel on circular lights if the fitment from the lens and to the bumper is snug but still allows you to remove the light fixture. that's more than my patience or skill level though.

I've mounted a 4 sets of driving lights and 2 of 4 sets have had broken lens from highway debris. if this is part of your concern check out laminix, I've applied them to 1 set of fogs for protection. I haven't used their circular pattern film so I can't tell you if you will have bubbling or lift issues if your lens are a little curved on the edges. there's also knock off film on Amazon or eBay for much cheaper than laminix. the film's also can some in different colors like yellow, etc.

You will need bezels in order for it to not look like a $10 Autozone special.

I used to have a Gen4 Camry- and always wanted the stock fog lights... but Toyota did a horrible job of designing them as an accessory. The stock bezels constantly fly off and end up looking like crap. Even back in the early 2000s, it was hard to find a Gen4 Camry with OEM fogs installed that still had the bezels.

The best fog lights for the Gen4 Camrys were available on higher-trimmed models in Australia. They were housed in the corners of the bumpers. They didn't fall off, and they looked much better than the crappy fog lights that were available in the U.S.

Neither of those are Australian models, in fact I don't think we ever got the fog-light option even in our highest-spec models (Grande/VXi for the Gen4 and Azura for the 4.5)

Toyota Camry Gracia. Came in Sedan or the Wagon. Their similar siblings (wagons) were the Toyota Mark II Qualis (1997-2001) - while not even sharing a hint with the actual Mark platform. Gracia were sold at different toyota stores while the Mark II Qualis was sold elsewhere. Qualis had a touch of the ES300 front end but retained the Camry Gracia front end and interior except for the ES300 cluster in some models.

Camry models in Japan only came with the 5S and I think the 2MZ.

When I get the time, I can scan a few brochures and post them up here.

It will be, this was just a rough cut. Its to get an idea of spacing, since I'm ot working with the stock setup, but aftermarket fog lamps. I was following the cut location of stock, my setup is about a few milimeter difference. Nothing is attached yet, so far fog will be recessed about 1/2" inside bezel, with bezel protruding 1/4-1/2" from horizontal ribs.
