I recently got a 2019 camery LE with standard radio that also have apple car play .. I would like to add Xm radio to it and have control thur the radio and still having the option to switch to car play at will.. i saw one option that used the usb port but i didn't want to loose the usb port for car play..Is there a kit out there that will fit my needs.. and if so can someone point me to it.. I also assume it possible to change the head unit but i think that higher cost..

There is a way to install SXM on the camry. You can either buy the parts and do it yourself, take it to a audio shop or have toyota do it.

I found the Southeast Toyota Add on XM Radio Kit 00016-00917 2018 on Amazon for $99.00 and just installed it in my 2018 Camry SE. It has the same hardware as the VAIS Technlogy GSR-TY52 kit that sells for $199.00, but the Southeast Toyota kit includes a mounting bracket for the add-on pieces.
Both kits integrate well with Carplay. In order to switch between SiriusXM and Carplay you hold the mode button on your steering wheel for three seconds.
