Auto Ventshade (Lund) makes a clear (colourless) bug deflector, model #25032-C. Probably available by special order from your local parts store. Open it up when you pick it up, as many arrive cracked.

I do wanted the clear one too but you said cracked on arrival? Is it due to the packaging or the product itself is made from bad plastic?
Does anyone has a picture installed?
I saw a few post in this forum with oem clear bugshield but I know the oem one oversea has clips mounted to the hood which i don't like. (it may rust and eats up the paint surface) If i am wrong, please correct me..... thx.

 

Bingo, the cracking/breaking is because of the poor packaging. It's wrapped in plastic and shipped in a long cardboard box, with no cushioning. Hence, it gets banged around alot and cracks. Mine was okay, but others have had to return their deflector because it arrived busted. As for clips, the AVS deflector only has clips which install on the underside of the hood (no clips visible on top).

 

If...and that's a big if...they give you a choice of shippers then stay away from UPS.

I picked up the clear Auto Ventshade at my Auto Zone for $55...it was a special order but they got it in within 2 days. I'll post pics tonight.

 

i am looking forward to that. I was actually hoping there was somehow to get the oem clear one here in the us but I cannot find it. any ideas?

Did you add the plastic tab on the hood or does it come with it?
Will the deflector actually "touch" the hood while driving @80mph???
If it does bend backward that much, I will go with a clear bra for sure...

bingo883 - Thanks...yes it comes with the plastic tabs and I've tried bending it myself and can't bend it back enough to touch the tabs, so I guess they are just there for precautionary reasons.

jimmied - Yes it screws to the underside of the hood...fairly easy installation.

Really good price if you got it for $55 at autozone.
Everywhere else online are at least $65.
I will go check it out at autozone tomorrow and minimize the shipping hassle as TrailDust and To_fire pointed out.
