Do you have Start button? From Off, press without touching brake pedal, and you should have radio on. If not, press one more time.

 

Come to think. ICE should turn off on its own, when you simply park and do not move.

 

So the engine does turn off, but after a while it turns back on.

Everything turns off with or without my foot on the brake.

I was hoping there was a way to cycle down to just accessories, like from on>acc>off but it only goes on>off.

I can power the accessories back on again, but that interrupts what I'm listening to.

 

Well, the system is designed to maintain battery charge and cat hot. While in Run mode. So nothing you can do there. Personally, I'd be not hacking anything as when you kill the battery, that will not be a happy moment.

 

The OP is probably used to American cars that have retained accessory power after you turn off the engine. Radio and power windows will work for 10 minutes after the ignition is turned off. My Mom had a Oldsmobile in the 90's that did this and my Ford truck does this also. It's nice when you want to hear the end of a song or finish a phone call. In my old Camry I can kind of mimic this by turning the key from "Run" to "Accessory" but it would be impossible with push button.

 

This is how I'd like it to be. Sure, I can press the button twice, but I just thought there'd be a way to have it in that state with a single press.

And actually I can't remember, if I press it on like that and keep my foot off the brake, does it turn off?
