yep, that's normal.

 

It's under the 12th gen Corolla 2019 hatchback and 2020 sedan forum now.

Electronic parking brake noise is loud but normal.

Mine would produce a faint "brake noise" while I am pulling out of the parking slowly, then it would disappear for the rest of the day.

 

I just bought a 202Toyota Corolla about two weeks ago. After driving it for a few days I am now hearing this noise when i put the car in park and taking it out of park. Is there any way this not can be stopped or what is the problem??

 

With ignition on, hold parking brake switch down for a few seconds to disable the automatic function of the electronic parking brake.
