Has anyone seen the Japan TRD all parts catalog? To me, the body lines of the Toyota Chaser look very, very, VERY similar to that of our beloved camry. TRD USA is of no help though they told me my quickshifter wouldn't fit a GEN 3, and I showed them who's boss! Anyway point being, it would be nice if they used the same chassis so some parts would fit up (e.g. Strut bar).

if the chassis is the same maybe someone with a lotta knowledge, money, and contacts in japan can get hooked up with the right parts to create a RWD camry with that 1jz engine (1jz-gte is the supra engine right? starting to forget some engine codes) that would be like the ultimate sleeper and would make actual drifting on a track with a camry possible (no way is pulling the e-brake on an fwd car drifting as many of you will agree).

Chassis is not the same hence it's RWD.

nah, the Gracia's fog lights look like they were added at the last minute..
the OEM "bullet" foglights on some bumpers look great..
those, combined with your TRD would look GREAT...
personally...i think the ES300 body line look much more similiar to the Chaser..except its RWD and the chassis
but for exterior i m always wonder if the side mirror would fit my ES300 cuz some of the chaser they got turning light on the side mirror....
btw wat year is tha "square " camry ..? never seen it be 4.. but the bodyline look so much like Toyota Crown...

In japan is only the camry wagon called the scepter? Where can I find pics of camrys in Japan?

I have been all over that site before. And it seems they were all wagons. I found one 4 door that said camry on the back. But I just went there now for kicks, and the fist member I clicked on was a 2 door that said scepter on the back. Odd, that I didnt find that before.
But it would still be nice if anyone could tell me some web sites to go to.

chaser and camry has totally diff chassis and platform..
camry is MCV/VCV chassis..and the chaser chassis code is JZX100/90 which is same as Aristo/GS300/GS400
