I want to remove the 3rd row seats because they are kind of useless. Setting in the third row is like a jail sentence lol. I would rather use the back for more storage room. Is there away to complete take out the 3rd row.

Look at...2nd Gen HL forum...DIY maint/ mods (interior) Maybe same for newer models, IDK ?

btw..make signature on your ride (yr/model etc) so we know what u got. Sig. done thru your acct. settings. Tks.

I would weigh weigh it to get an accurate measurement. The 3rd row seat on my 2nd Gen was 50-pounds, and I doubt 3rd row seats have doubled or nearly tripled in weight between Gens. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but for accuracy sake point out that the weight may be much less.

I had the 3rd row removed in my 2015...now that I have a 2019 I will be doing the same. I built a shelf so I could still store stuff under neath but when we traveled we could put a mattress back there too. Worked great.

I am having trouble removing the 14mm bolts that secure the seat rails of the seats (2019 Highlander)- Do I need an impact driver? I only have a hammer drill and pb Blaster or WD40. I tried to use the socket wrench with an extension for more leverage but that didn't work. I also want to build a sleeping platform with storage for camping.
