Has anyone used or heard of Putco Bulbs?

I already put 5k morimotos for my low beams and now I'm looking to replace my fog lights. I don't want to go the HID route since they aren't projectors and a google search has led me to these.

They have gotten positive reviews on amazon and on lexus forums but I have never heard them mentioned here.

I'm interested in the Jet Yellow 3k color. I've seen Nokya mentioned a few times here so I'm posting this picture for a comparison.

They are standard wattage bulbs. Anyone with experience on these?

Putco and Noyka are both good brands. I can't comment on the reliability of one versus the other, but from what I've seen, they're about the same. I've always preferred to run Noyka and I have friends who prefer Putco. You won't go wrong either way. I would also look into Hoen Endurance bulbs, they're another good brand.

I have the jet yellows in my fogs. I can only compare them to DDMs 3k HID bulbs, but I like them better. The HIDs were a more yellow on the road, as the jet yellows are a little more goldish or darker, if that makes sense. But they look better when looking at the car head on. The HIDs for some reason didnt look that yellow, didnt always turn on on the first try, and had too much glare.

For the price, they are worth a try for sure. Especially if you have Amazon Prime. I am very happy with them.

I had the Putco Nitro Blue (Non DOT) headlights in both my Toyota Tacoma and motorcycle. I really liked the blue color to them but they didn't seem as bright compared to my Sylvania SilverStar Ultra (DOT Approved) bulbs even though the kelvin rating was higher. I eventually removed the Nitro Blue's and replaced with SilverStar for the sake of seeing better at night. But I left the Nitro Blue in my motorcycle because they just looked too cool.

I don't believe higher Kelvin ratings equal more brightness but I'm sure someone can come along and verify that.

I went ahead and ordered the 3k Jet Yellow Putco bulbs. Amazon had them cheaper but I went through ebay. As of a week or two ago, Texas has to pay sales tax on amazon purchases....
