It’s on the backside at the top of the engine bay. Super simple to replace, I did it in about 30mins in my apartment parking lot. Definitely not worth $900.

is there two of them? wolf pack when you did yours did you just do the top one and that worked? I checked the charts it showed too and is the part Number 16671F202 ... my Vinn starts with 5 thank you guys!

 

It is the upper coolant valve which is related to HVAC unit... Lower valve is for automatic transmission cooler only.

 

My coolant valve connector is still nice and dry.

In photos # 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, you can see the plastic retainer clip pulled out on the high pressure pump fuel inlet. It works just like for the coolant valve fittings... I removed then reinstalled a lot of stuff for better access, including the noise suppressor shroud held by plastic wingnuts underneath. GGP's fuel pump flange gives me better access now. Original flange had started to rust heavily beneath the pump.

yeah they said it was from the production date which is ridiculous, anyways bought the part from Toyota and had a local shop install for $150 and the part cost $100.. $250 total, dealership wanted $900 crazy lol but fixed !

Warranty starts on delivery date. Escalate to Toyota USA.

 

Dealerships charge way too much for pretty much every service. Maybe I'd have them do the CVT drain/fill but not much else.
