well.. 1 week i actually kept track of it... in 1 almost full tank:
256km highway + 224km city
after about that, the gas guage needle was just a bit over the 2nd last line but the gas lite came on for lyk 5sec. gas was cheap that day so i filled up
but i have no idea how to convert km/L to mpg

I usually have a good mix of highway and city driving and on average get about 450Km out of a full tank. Got 520Kms one week without light coming on. No idea what I was doing then, certainly not being light on the accelerator :)

2005 Camry LE I-4

My average thus far is 340 city/426 hwy.

My highest: 538 miles on a full gallon,
My lowest: 325 miles.

My driving is a mix of steady-state cruising and stop and go traffic, hilly terrain and flat, etc., etc... My '95 generally manages about 310-325 miles before I get to 1/4 tank (I always refill at 1/4 tank). That works out, usually, to anywhere in the 24-27 mpg bracket... kind of low for a 4-cyl 5-speed car. (Especially since my buddy's '03 V6 Accord manages the same MPG as I do) My '87 got 29-30 on a regular basis. For the record, the Camry is in a fine state of tune, and all four tires are at 32-33 PSI.

oh boy i think that my lead foot has me getting about 300... haha and maybe on the highway i'll get 350 (albeit going 70-80 miles an hour and passing in second gear)

....one of Toyota's best features: the V6 + 5-speed (4th/5th=OD)..............

Twin Falls to Sacramento: about 600 miles on a tank of petrox............

..but you've got to be cool and exercise some restraint...........ez

on my 1300 mile trip back home i got like 35+ mpg the whole way. i could have gotten 600+ on each tank. I dont know what happened but i guess i just found that sweet spot and i was driving 350+miles non stop.

1990 camry I4 3sfe - 28mpg city and 35 mpg hwy...i like it with the current gas prices...one of the main reasons i bought such a car, actually.

:sosad: im only getting about 250-280 miles per tank city driving.

however on my recent trip to boston from nyc i got there and back (550+ miles) on a single tank.

i just did my tune up at 117k miles (car has 121k now) however when i did the timing belt i had it off by a tooth so i adjusted the timing a bit from the dist... i could probably bump it up a few more degrees since the car is kinda soggy at low rpms.

Barely highway drive so I get about 13-14 mpg city and just about 200 miles per tank. Sad I know. I'm thinking o2 sensor's bad, possibly need a new fuel filter? :dunno: Just changed all my plugs and so far mileage seems to be the same.

word...I put $20 in last tuesday and it filled it to a little under 3/4 full. Now today sunday the low fuel light came on twice and i've put on 140 miles. I wouldn't say I have a lead foot but I don't drive like a 90 yr old.

Im surprise to see how some camry eats up big gas..One of mah buddie got a 4cyl 5sfe..he went from Sacramento to Merced (Aprox. 100Miles) with a FULL tank started out..when he got to merced..it was half way already..Is this the engine problem or the o2 sensor problem??

i get 200-210 if i do 10% hwy.. do all my driving city so i barely top out at 200 if i go down to low fuel light. for some reason i think it might help my mileage when i use the slushbox as a semi-manual(put it in L aka 1st when turning, gear braking at lower speeds, manually downshifting into 2nd when im on a hill or just need some pick up) ive gotten used to knowing when to change the gear even though its auto.
