Hello, as the title says I'm looking for a performance cold air intake for my Corolla LE. It's got the stock engine and I wanna be absolutely sure I get something that fits inside of it.

Complete waste of money. You will hardly anything and you may actually get worse mpg.

I got the HPS intake...different motor but similar design....got the black tubing cause I thought it looked cool. Improved performance? IDK maybe...at least HPS seems the most honest with only 5hp gain claimed if I remember correctly.
Cool whooshy intake sounds, nice look and minor bragging rights? Most definately!
It must do something performance wise if most of the tuning companies do not recommend running higher level performance tunes without it and some exhaust mods....at least my poor reasoning ability thinks so.

Honestly I wouldn't modify anything on a late model Corolla, beyond aesthetics anyway. The main appeal of buying one is that the exact configuration Toyota sells is exceptionally reliable.
