New to the site & brand

Well, coming from a long list of Dodge/Jeep products, a Volkswagen, and a Honda (that met an untimely demise with some small trees), I now find myself in a 2015 Camry SE (with 20k miles). It was either this, or a Nissan Altima... and the CVT issues with the Altima scared me... That and I have a friend of mine who is a mechanic for a Toyota dealer here, so at this point it was a no-brainer.

I'm here because I like to do things myself, and it looks like, so far, this is a very good resource for information.

Welcome to both of you. Having pre ordered the refreshed Altima when they came out in 2013 I can say the transmission issues are mostly people who can't adjust to the quirks of a CVT. That said ours has had several little issues that result in frustration and annoyance. On balance it's been a good car capable of FANTASTIC mileage.

Good Day
New to the Toyota world and purchased a 2001 camry with 143000KM on it. I would like to do as many repairs myself and always looking for information. I am hoping this is a good resource. NS Canada
