I have a 95 Toyota pickup truck with 180k miles. I have just replaced the fuel pump. When I pulled out of the driveway, I noticed it getting to about 3rd gear and holding until it seemed to warm up in about 3 miles then it would shift just fine there after until it would stay parked for the day. At the end of the day, I will get in it and it will do it again. Again, after it finally shifts from 3dr gear, it does just fine from there on until it sits for a while and cools down. It is an automatic by the way.
What could be? I’m not sure but doesn’t it have a shift sensor that controls that or does it sound like a torque converter?:headbang:
