There's a fuse box under the hood to the right side of the engine.. and another one down to the left of the steering wheel. Read the back of the fuse box covers to find out what fuses are what.

 

I checked the fuses and still no lights. That was y I was seeing if there was somewhere else. The box under hood doesnt say which relay for tail lights

 

That's the only location for the taillight fuse, inside the cabin fuse box. The fuse box under the hood has the headlight fuses and turn signals and such. Should be a 15a fuse for the taillight. What exactly isn't turning on? It doesn't light up when you press on the brake? or it doesn't turn on when it's dark outside ? Also, what trim do you have?

 

The brake lights and everything works just no lights when dark. Headlights work. The trim I have is SE

 

The fuse was popped so I changed and still nothing. I put multimeter on fuse and power at fuse

 

hmmm.. I found a video on the SE recorded at night and the exterior lights that turn on.. the tail lights are on in the video but for you there are no lights coming from the tail light. The headlight switch is on the third position from the bottom, right?.. the light bulb for the tail lights are the same for the stop light so its not the bulb. Best to take it in and let them figure it out.

 

Take to dealer and stop wsiting time.

If your lights aren't working and it's still under warranty (which it should be as long as you have less than 36,000 miles)- just let the dealer fix it.

You shouldn't have to lift a finger to fix. Just let the dealer figure it out.

 

I am getting them to look at it Tuesday. It's my first new car and not used to the warranty stuff.

New on the forum. Have similar issue re: tail lights out. Bulbs were gone. Replaced - still no light. Checked fuse - was OK. Don't believe I have a relay on 2007 Auris to check. Don't have power at connectors. All other rear and front lights working. Any help appreciated.

they want 400 dollars to replace everything a total ripoff set up

 

This statement makes me think that you need to find another dealership or a trusted independent shop to do some investigation.

 

Hi I have 2017 Camry LE and have the same problem, all lights working except the tail light doesn't work when there is dark outside.
