I've got a 2000 Camry with the TDS alarm system. With the alarm turned off, it is arming itself and going off. I tried putting the system in valet mode and the alarm eventually still goes off on it's own. I sat in the car, not touching anything and watched the doors lock on their own and then the alarm went off. I even set the alarm, opened a car door so the alarm would go off and let it run the course to see if that would stop the alarm from going off again. Eventually, same problem, the doors of the car would lock and the alarm would go off. If I didn't know better, I'd say the car was posessed....LOL. Help!!!!!

You can just unplug it if you don't wish to keep the alarm. Factory alarms will be under the drivers seat, aftermarket is probably under the drivers kneeboard, tied up near the fuse panel. There will be a big plug with 15 or 16 wires coming out, unplug that and you're good to go.

Thanks, everyone for taking the time to respond. I don't think it's the door sensors because the other day, I got home around noon, and the alarm didn't go off until after midnight. I've also sat in the car and heard the car doors actually lock themselves. Thanks again for the thought. I'm going to look at seeng how to disable the alarm system. Chris Crash, I'll take a look and see. It does sound too easy and would be nice but I'll give it a shot. Thanks again.
