i have been working on a 97 2.2 with some issues that i have gotten straight, finaly,,,but i have a EVAP sys mon inc. So i was searchin the site for this inc an found this thread http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/1...neration-1992-1996-1997-2001/103663-2001-drive-cycle-following-obdii-reset.html which seems to touch on what i need to know. i found in this thread a couple links. http://www.camrystuff.com/manuals/Ge...neous/TSBs.pdf
was suppose to have drive cycles to get rid of the incompletes(not codes). got my code problems solved but still have the inc and have drove it 3 days to work but is still incomplete, had to install a new thermostat to get rid of several inc. as it was running too cool but that was prior to the last 3 days of normal driving.
anyhow this camrystuff site doesnt work for me ,just shows some hack crap. anybody know where to get a drive cycle for a 97 2.2 feel free to share. theres one on the old thread for a 2000-2002 which i hope will work but just in case i'm lookin ahead of time. just 1 stupid incomplete and i'll be clear with the new beater car. its nice inside and everthing works but the outside is rough as a cobb.

The downside to clearing codes manually rather than letting the codes clear on their own is a hang if the problem is not actually fixed.

Also, some of the $25 China code readers have generic software that may not be accurate...

example is giving a catalyst not ready for a v6..yeah, cause you have an I4, so there is no other cat. bogus status from a cheap generic code reader..
