I agree... stupid behavior cost him his car and will probably raise his insurance rates, and he should thank his lucky stars that he survived.
Hopefully he learned something from the experience...

I've done some stupid stuff before, but that was really dumb. Glad he's OK.

Also, unless he barely glanced off that pole, (which looks like it was possilbe) he was going way less than 115 when he hit it. I've seen similar cars hit poles/trees at half that speed and have 3X as much damage.

those things on the side of the road sometimes that shows how fast your going. like a rader box i guess. it may have a sign that says drive safe somewhere and then the speed limt on the too.

 

not gonna say anything negative about the car or your brother's poor choices
