U-haul class 4 hitches?

Anybody have any experiences with them? or the wiring harnesses?

My brother had a class 3 U-Haul hitch and wiring installed by U-Haul, it was fine. I would bet that it all depends on the individual dealership and the quality of the employees. I can't believe that installing one on a Tacoma would be much of a tough job if you decide to do it yourself. I can however tell you that the factory trailer wiring include a seperate relay in the power center under the hood.

They are great quality but don't let the minimum wage monkeys install the thing and especially the wiring. Bolt it in yourself and the wiring is not hard. When I went to pick mine up (on a Honda Pilot) the monkeys had wires sticking out of the taillights! I told them immediately "no f'n way".

U-Haul hitches are nice and easy to install and for the wiring harness just buy a plug and play one, no need for wire splicing etc...
