The swirly colors do make it look more interesting. Not sure why Fel-Pro couldn't just make it look plain-looking though. I hope it's not the reason for the premium in the premium valve stem seals.

Kind of like putting a stick of bubble gum in a pack of baseball cards or the toy in the Cracker Jacks box? When I was a kid, I'd dig through an entire box of kids' cereal to get the prize/toy. What a great idea for valve seals!
