I've noticed that there is no such question in this forum..so What do you plan on doing with your Corolla?

I bought the corolla for one reason. I wanted to prove to all those Mustang loving band wagon hoping monkeys that they'd get beat by a Corolla.

Over the next few years I plan on doing..

Engine:
K&N(HOPEFULLY) Cold Air Intake
Supercharger
Turbo
Magniflow Exhaust system
NOS
(Yes NO ENGINE SWAP. I'm going straight 1.8 L)

Exterior:
Blinkers on Rear View Mirrors
Black Altezza's Rearlights(DONE)
White Front Lights(DONE)
Fog lights(I know its a bummer that CE model doesn't have it..)
Medium or Close to Illegal Black Tint Windows
All Black Grill
Carbon Fiber Hood(Going to paint Indigo Blue)
Body Kit(Going to pain Indigo Blue)
Sunroof(It CAN be done! And I will do it on my CE model!)
Lambo Doors on the front doors
Suicide Doors on the back doors
Black Gunmetal Rims (17's)

Interior:
Bose Sound System
All the Gauges needed for the Engine
Two TVs in the front heads for the people in the back
Xbox 360 or PS3
Seats will be a complete different color than the stock right now..don't know what color..
Heated Steats/A/C Seats (It CAN be done!)

Thats all I have planned for now..I'll add more when I think of it. But thats the overall for what I want to do!

um... okay then..... looks like you're all set

what are you waiting for?
For my approval obviously, hm..... I'll let him know of the status pretty soon.

But I do plan to modify my Corolla to run in the 8 seconds in the quarter mile, able to handle 2.0G and have more than 2000 horsepower. It will be faster than lightning and louder than thunder.

K&N - I have a drop-in and plan to put it in again...
Super/turbo - I don't have that kind of $$$
Nitrous - illegal up here
Exhaust - not that much of a gain

Exterior:
Blinkers on Rear View Mirrors
Black Altezza's Rearlights(DONE)
White Front Lights(DONE)
Fog lights(I know its a bummer that CE model doesn't have it..)

I'm going for full LED except headlights, but finding the right LED for the high mounted stop light is hard.

Other things I want to do:

Tinted windows
Fog light, perferably via a 01 front end conversion
PC in my car
Dolby Digital 5.1 setup in car
Some kind of CD deck in case I can't put a PC in
An alarm system, preferably one that arms itself when I lock the doors
Lightweight alloys, 14" or 15"

Right heated seats can be done - I posted in the tech forum that there is one undocumented circuit in a gen 8 at least that are meant for this. Now onto finding the right heating element that won't melt your seat or burn your ass.

But the biggest project going on around my car is...

MANUAL CONVERSION!!! :D:cool:

First, getting the 7AGE project back on track. (1 month+ without work has made things a little rough...)

After that, swaybars, coilovers (K-Sport or JIC), internal and external detailing, getting some sound-deadening material added to the wheelwells and interior, the StreetDeck nav/computer setup, then going turbocharged.

Eventually, probably a CF hood, true HID lights, the straight lift for the trunk, gas shock conversion kit for the hood...

In between, routine maintenance.

Hmm I am never totally sure. I am thinking wider tires than the 205's I have now.
Coil over suspension, possibly ksport as has been suggested, I want the adjustability of coil overs rather than lower it.
not going to lower it right down.
Bucket seat.
Full 2 inch exhaust

keep the 4af
increase compression, dual or quad carbs, larger valves with stronger valve springs, possibly bore it out a little. Stronger crank and connecting rods. Larger cams..

larger rad, maybe remove the A/C rather than fix it. Also thinking of a manual steering rack..

Not sure if I will put headers on it or not
Also not sure on the transmission yet.

Wouldn't mind a jdm rear bumper, and possibly a zenki front bumper as I HATE the kouki marker/fog lights. Trueno rear lights!!!

Ae86 panit scheme, all I have to do now is the red on the bumpers and the black on the doors between the wheels and I'll pretty much have that

Sound system? maybe a small sub in the trunk and an amp for the 4 speakers I already put in.

BIGGER BRAKES!

I have the rear disc conversion in my garage, basically I need the porportining block and rear calipers

Just out of curiosity how old are you? You sound like you just got your license.

You claim you have a G35 and a Z, so unless you have lots of money to dump on your car (which you should have used on an XRS) or your not very smart in picking your parts. What do you have against Mustangs anyway? Its your mentality that have people laughing at the Corollas in the first place. Don't start any beef.... Go back to your list and rethink of your parts (that is if you do want to prove those "Mustang loving bandwagon hoping moneys" wrong) and I don't mean just simply name all the parts like you did, see the turbo and than the supercharger and than NOS (which the correct term would be nitrous, since NOS is made by Holley). A better setup would just twin turbo the 1zz. After that to optimize the power level you can than add another turbo. If you are really doing this than I take everyting I said back and give you props but in the mean time seeing is believing. And frontin gets you nowhere in the Internet.

..whats wrong with this picture?

Lol thats like 80% of the parts you're missing.. heh, the discs arent the biggest hassle in that, the calipers and mounting are.

Seriously though, if you want to go fast then plan the mods on that, if you want to make a general use car, then plan that. If you want entertainment and luxury plan on that. However you can ofcourse go both ways, but all the additional extras will cause your car to weigh more = decrease in performance.

As for beating mustangs, sure, you can do it, but what if the mustang guy has the same money in engine mods as you do, but the base where he started from is so much better.

You can make a corolla go fast, but ultimately going that with the N/A route is going to be boring and take alot of money and drivebility will be poor.

didn't think you can Twin Turbo the engine..is the engine even Twin turbo capable?
Twin turboing isnt that special, its just two turbochargers... however the point in doing it just doesnt exist in a corolla.

how much wider you plan on going Freakinbox ? 215's ? are you lowered on 205's right now ? i dont think i have ever seen anyone run any wider than a 205 on a ae92, if anything id run wider in the front, but i can see the rears getting hacked up or hittin the struts..

Funnyguy: You can slap 2 turbos on anything, its the Why & how much money you wanna waste doing so..

Not sure yet, But I would have to shove flares on the car to get more room. 16x7's don't rub on the back with +40 offset.

My car is stock height right now, looking to lower it a tiny bit, but that'll be adjustable for the summer vs winter with the coil overs. I live in an area where sometimes a lowered car is impossible to drive in the winter...

Your user name really reflects your posts. I had a good chuckle. You must be thinking of the S model (which I had). The XRS is a different breed. Check some more info on the Corolla XRS or the 2zz-ge engine it has compared to the 1zz-fe.
