Hi guys,

Who knows where is the 2.5l engine heater port located on Camry 2015?
I just bought block heater and would like to install it but I am trying to find the port\cartridge but visually I cannot recognize the location of the port so far ;)

Thank you in advance!

I read that place for installation is on the left rear side, as instruction says, but where exactly? in the head or block... I tried to find it but I can't ;)
I thought may be somebody has experience and can explain exactly where I have to put heater inside or (and) provide with any pictures of 2AR-FE.

I have just installed heater.
Engine block heater port is located above the transmission body, On the left side of the engine, closer to the back side - at the corner.
To install heater, you need just 10mm tool and X-screw driver. That was not difficult.
I purchased Kat's engine heater from eTrailer, but there was no plug cap and dielectric silicone grease in the kit.
Knew this, I would go for Toyota OEM heater, that looks more promising.

Hey. I’ve done this a few times on other vehicles, so I kind of knew what to look for. This is a 2012 Toyota Camry LE with the 4 cylinder (2AR-FE) engine. If you are standing in front of your car with the hood up, the hole is on the right side of the engine, toward the rear, about midway down, right above the transmission. It’s just a simple little hole with a spot killed out for the clip on the heater. My pictures progressively close in on the hole. It really helps to remove the filter box. Hope this helps.

To help anyone who is installing this, I have included a few arrows in Billy Bobby's picture. The green arrow points in the direction where the hole in the block is. The problem I found is that the pipes and the plastic harness prevent the heater from entering straight into the whole. By removing two 10mm screws and a nut (two of them shown by the red arrows and the third one is below the top cover) one can wiggle the plastic harness enough for the heater probe to go in.
