Well I didnt read the whole thing but read you had a blown line....so a cheap fix...thTS GOOD
Lemme give ya some advice....I have had a million cars...some good...some total PITA piles of.....well insert your own there....
Its always better to have a spare or back up engine at your ready.....go buy a second motor from a JY, work on that ONE in your garage, room, living area...whatever you got....NEVER depend on a DD while getting built...it will forever let you down or leave you stranded and feeling hopeless......I am have had and done a million man...I am new to the board here but this is just a a basic past experience. I just got my cam...and I am already shopping for a new/spare motor to tinker with...I wont spend over a certain amount for a used motor that I know I am tearing apart....but if you NEED a runner type...set a budget....
first always plan, FOLLOW plan...if plan gets screwed up...IE, current motor craps and dies...you have a known second motor ther to fill in with.
Yes I am a slightly anal and I always like having my ass covered in the event of the worse

Couldn't agree more. That's why I bought the J vin, so I wasn't modding my DD.

I just got my cam....I have always been a Acura guy (Legend specifically).....but I burned out...the c32a is a wonderful motor...when its proper....but it loves to eat HGs...which gets costly.....there is the c35 swap, pretty straight forward but you have to faba few things....blah blah blah...
I got my cam for a whopping $600 and the AC works (godsend here in AZ)....and even though it looks like crap, has different sized wheels, and a mulitude of other weirdness...its runs DAMN GOOD....and thats the main reason I bought it is the 60 mile roundtrip for work every day that my beloved Legend was killing me on

Yup! That's it. But I chopped the hood apart with an axe. And it's coming along slowly.
It's actually registered to race. I just had to pull out of my first race that's next weekend due to Tire King ruining me. But I might be back in...

I gotta build a harness bar. But I'm planning on integrating a camera mount to it. I'm definitely gonna record it.

hell yes. shes my BABY!! and the mr2s lookin good bro. i need to get my camber bolts. and we need to put those on. along with my RSB. its just sitting in the garage looking at me everyday...askin for me to put him on.:facepalm::lol:
