i like how the gauge inside says 80mpg... not even a regular prius will get that
very clean is300 tho...

maybe the 80 mpg is for when you shut the motor off going downhill? lol Or when you get sick of gas prices and cut the floor boards out so you can move the car with your feet... FLINSTONE CAR
Well, 80mpg isn't hard to achieve.. Once I let the car coast, the sampling rate at the ECU for miles vs fuel consumption at that moment is really 80+. The moment you accelerate, the needle goes to the other end of the scale...lol

So fresh and so clean! Do you have any vids of it in action?

Very sweet Tony, where are the vids?
Thanks :D Videos have been made, but not uploaded yet...lol Nothing spectacular though, just a few random clips.

nice...are u still on the stock tranny??....i wonder how it will hold over time.....
Yup, stock transmission with tranny cooler and Amsoil Race ATF. It's not holding so well though I can tell you that..LOL It was okay at 4-5 psi, but at 8 psi, the transmission doesn't even know what to do when the boost comes. It just slips all over the place and hits the rev limiter a few times before it decides to shift...ROFL

I'd be bringing both cars... Probably have my bro drive the Supra and myself with the IS300.. Unfortunately, my Camry won't be ready in time for this season, but these other boring Toyotas will do the job for now...

Looks great man, how was it installing a turbo on that engine?
Physically bolting up the turbo wasn't a major issue... Of course, I wanted to use the T67 I have already, so it was quite a b*tch to fit that huge mutha in that tight engine bay. Pipe routing and stuff wasn't too bad, but I had to do some cutting to fit the intercooler and have the FMIC exposed with the core only (with no charge piping or silicon couplers exposed). Tuning was a lot of headaches though because I never expected the ECU to be that finicky. The MAF sensor doesn't work too well with a pipe attached in front of it and I had to build an airbox to let the air slow down before it passes the sensor. Or else, the car would stumble whenever I drive the car and slow down to idle. It took a few days to figure out that problem, but once I fixed that issue, everything else was straight forward :)
