Alright guys my car has a little less than 150K on it and it is still going strong!

I am looking to replace my leaking exhaust gasket and have decided to upgrade the header while I have everything out.

I am looking at a DC Sports Header model THC4405. $272

What brand and model number gaskets do I need to get to replace the existing ones? It appears there is 2 different donut gaskets and I have no idea what size the one right off the header is. Also, is there anything I need to replace at this time while I have the manifold off?

Thanks
Cody

It has been a while sense I have been around the form. I am taking an interest in doing a little work on my 12 year old car aging.

When replacing the header, I wound up having to replace the O2 sensor considering I snapped the original one off while trying to remove it from the manifold. It wound up costing an additional $90 I believe.

Anyway, I noticed a noticeable improvement in the midrange RPM performance with this manifold swap. I would definitely recommend it if you have the money. I would expect the total cost with a new O2 sensor to be in the neighborhood of around $400 with the sensor.

It has been on for 11 months now and it performs better now than the day I bought the car.

I will have to agree with you on that. It is the best mod I have done to the car thus far.

Also, the 10MMx1.25 nuts were too large for the exhaust studs. I wound up having to the original nuts to install the new manifold.

I believe they are actually 8mm x 1.25 incase anyone else is looking to perform the same mod. Also, below is a link to the O2 sensor I installed.

That would be great information for this thread. It has been a while, but I just remember the ARP M10 x 1.25 nuts just sliding right over the studs and not actually being able to tighten them. My original nuts were in great condition so I didn't have second thoughts reusing them. I will say one tip when working on a car, I always use anti-seize on bolts/nuts that might need to be removed again.
