I have been trying to figure this out for about a year for a project that I am helping with. Plus I have searched and searched for my question and can't find anything that comes close to my questions.

My brother needs just the upper radiator support piece for a 97 Prizm that has the upper piece bent too bad that nothing is lining up right but for the hood latch after a little bit of straightening.

Does my brother needs to replace the whole support or can we replace just the top? Plus can we use 7th Gen Corolla upper support piece if we can just replace the top? It seems that is only way to get just the upper piece that I can find easily. We was even thinking of cutting one out of junk yard Geo Prizm, but whole new support is only about $20 to $30 cheaper.

This has been a project that has been going on too long right now, too. It started with a sad story, too.

So are you saying the Corolla piece will not work unless my bro change the front to a Corolla?

By the way, I kinda want to show what started the project: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4643460/car/IMG_0155.JPG

It was parked on the side of the street. Then my brother was woke up to some "stolen" Mountaineer connected to it. Found out the Mountaineer took a corner too fast and hit that 96 Prizm. The unibody frame got bent and was going to cost too much to get back on the road.

About 7 to 8 months later, we found this 97 Prizm with a blown engine and little front end damage while we was garage sale looking: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4643460/projectgeo/IMG_0023.JPG
