Any bodyshop members? What will it take to fix misaligned front end facade?

Hey guys,

Couple years back I got into a minor accident - the body shop replaced all damaged parts but seems like they didn’t care to align the hood/bumper/upper grill/headlights.
Can I aligned this solo or do I need help? Or have to take it to a body shop to realign everything?

If bodyshop - whats the cost roughly?

Take it apart and see how it looks OTHERWISE you just have to get a estimate from the body shop. Don't ask here, just go. The body shop can get you an estimate in less than five minutes.

Body work is not at all easy unless you want to make your situation look worse.

Was the body not properly bent, welded, and installed? Anything specific from the estimator? If stuff is still bent then I can understand the need to use the bending machine to bend it back to within spec.

With the fender still installed, it looks a lot worse than it seems. Otherwise as I said before, after my own work, the total price was about $4800 (in Wisconsin). It just makes you wonder how bad the previous body shop had to have screwed up. As you can see with mine, the only real noticeable thing was the door which I just smacked with a hammer myself. I would like to say to check out my threads but I have not added these pictures or my video yet because I am just... waiting...

Not sure how the insurance companies work in the States....as I'm from Vancouver,BC and were blanketed by just one insurance company. But how could you accept such a poor workmanship from a bodyshop when you went to pick up your car? .......i wouldve just turned away and told them to fix it and fix it properly.

Yeah I mean it’s 1.5 hrs south of me but I would like to have them take a look.
Thanks man!

It was just all bad timing… two days after the repair was done I had to drive out to California.
