2019 HL-L 40.000 km.Went to dealer for 2.nd try with right front area clunks.Got lucky mechanic ordered the strut.(leaking).NFF on first try 2 months ago.
Have not been driving it for a few days last week, was parked in the sun.
The windshield got a heat stress crack. No stone chip or any damage on the surface.

1.Stress cracks on window glass(any) are only covered by warranty for 1 year or 20.000km
2.My insurance company (TD Insurance) wont pay for the camera calibration, only for the windshield replacement.
Camera calibration only covered in collision claims.(270 Can$pessos)

3..Struts are NOT replaced by pair, per axle under warranty.Only the defective part would get replaced.
4.Struts.No stock.On back order.Possible waiting time 30+ days!!
5.No courtesy car.As I do my own maintenance, not using dealer for maintenance.Free rental car only after 10 days waiting(Paying for 10 days rental would be more expensive then replacing both struts with after market ones @ an independent garage.)
6.Calling Toyota corporation customer service for help got me nothing.
It was a rather strange experience. It reminded me a movie I watch few years back.Called "Outsourced"
The first lady I spoke to there suddenly went silent while I could hear a child crying and some street sound cars etc.
The second lady was more focused wrote down all the info, put me on hold for 6 min.then told me it is what it is,nothing she will do and it's between me and the dealer.

I parked the HL for now.

Why are you wasting peoples time with unhelpfull comments on a daily basis?
Are you a 7 years old using daddys account?
You missed the line about my insurance not paying for the lane dep.camera callibration.
Should I ask Dodge for an insurance quote?

Do you have easy access to a different Toyota dealer? It sounds like this particular dealer has very poor customer service expectations.
I’ve had varying experiences with different dealerships over the years, but have been pleased with my local one in recent years. Our 2016 HL developed a leak in the timing chain gasket. Power train warranty had expired a few thousand miles prior to discovering the leak. This gasket should not fail this early (if ever). I called Toyota corporate customer care. They advised to contact my local dealership for a quote and call back to see if they could help with the cost.
I called my local Toyota service and explained the situation. They covered the work at no charge under “customer good will”. This is a pretty major repair, as they have to pull the engine to access the gasket.
Sorry you’re having to deal with this.

Update:
Couldn't get a rental car for the $40/day that Toyota corp.would have payed after 10 days waiting.Rental car shortage.
I agreed to aftermarket strut replacement only if both front would be replaced. They replaced them with "Monroe"
Ride is much worst, very soft, nosedives when braking. At least I can drive it...And lifetime warranty.I will definitely have to replace them whenever this parts shortage madness allows me.Thinking Bilstein B4s or B6.
Windshield on back order of course.36 to be received before me.3-4 months!!
Dealer was ok.Highest rated dealer in town.
Member 2017Lowlander is onto something when he keeps saying to get a Dodge!
I wonder if other brands are effected with parts shortage?!?

Shortages are not limited to any one brand. Ram is a good truck, so is Ford. As a brand, Toyota is among the best, if not the best. Dodge, not so much (Fiat owned). Chevy got better but now are getting bad again. The shortages will get worse before they get better. Good luck.

Interesting about the leaking Struts, I purchased a 2019 LE last Oct with 42000 KM for Kia dealer.

Brought in to Toyota St-Balise here on the south shore of Montreal and inspection found 3 leaking struts, 2 front ones and one back strut.
They were all replaced under warranty last December.

The definity have QC issue with struts on the newer models. I wonder if it's cold winter operation that's making the seals leak.

We had 2 Toyos in the 90s they both went over 300k with only a muffler replacement.
I think Toyo is living off their reputation while they focus more of their resources on a less pollutant powerplant to beat out the competition..
The struts and shock are Kyb.
and they too had a solid reputation.

I have some co workers who swear by their Dodge,Ford and GM vehicles. They say they'll never buy a tinfoil bodied asian car.
I used to work with an East German man.He said nothing compares to his 2 cycle/2 cylinder (26HP)"Trabant" he had in Leipzig.
He said it never broke down, but he took the engine out once every 2 weeks to clean & maintain it.
Our personal perception & experiences vary. The only way to know and compare is by numbers.
The Initial quality survey or IQS, looks at the number of problems experienced per 100 vehicles during the first 90 days of ownership.Sometime its called the PP100 score, the lower the score the better because it reflects fewer problems and higher dependability.Unfortunately these PP100 scores are hard to find. There are lots of smogs & mirrors.Very few truly independent, reliable sources out there.Hence we are here reading about each others experiences.

I have driven, maintained cars since 1962. Was associated with fleet management during much of my career, so have seen a bunch of domestic vehicles used and abused. The vast majority were light trucks, used on and off pavement. I was a "Ford Man" for my personal vehicles for over 20 years, but the Fords were no better than the GM's, or even the Dodges (once you tweaked the fit and finish). I divorced Ford after having a lemon truck that the company refused to acknowledge any problems with. Have put nearly 1,000,000 miles on Toyotas since. had my first mechanical issue this month, and Toyota has stepped up to repair under their drive train warranty. YYMV.

Like I said.We all have our own personal experiences to which we'll react according to our perception of reallity. The only true comperison is the "Problem per 100 vehicles"and even that is not accurate as it does not take into consideration the lube effect where your local dealership may or may not mix sand into their Vaseline.
