Last year we hauled the full size spare I bought inside the van. It takes up way more room than I thought.
This year, for our 4 day trip north 8 hours to San Fransisco, I found a much better solution.
Took 10-15 min to install. (Hitghate Solo, specifically the "High Clearance" version)
Rear plate does get covered. They sell a solution, but I figured, hey, we have a front plate and it's only on for a few days. I'll risk it.
