Does anyone know know to remove speed limiter on a 92-96 camry ?

1mz has a 139 mph speed limiter hardwired in, apparently.
3vz has nothing other than a 7100 rpm fuel cutoff

5S, no clue, but it's a small 4-banger in a midsize sedan, so it probably doesn't have one (not sure on this one though)

toysrme compared the 90's V6's way back, this is his writeup where he mentions the presence/absence of limiters

well if our cars did have one and the way toyota does things is your going to need to modify the speed sensor signal to the ecu, or use a different ecu......

the smt6 has a feature to do that apparently (pulse width manipulation)

but like i said in my 96 i buried the needle

Thank you all for your comments.

As some of you know I live in Europe.

The Autobahn is only one hour from the border here in The Netherlands.

As all of you know The Autobahn has no speed limits.

I did not hit more than 190 km/h(119mph as far as I know)

It take hours to get 210 km/h (131 mph)

I have a import model with RHD steer from Malaysia.
It's also a 4 cyl 2.2L GX so I do not know maybe just ........

Refer to Toysrme's post (I linked it a few posts back).
I think it stops around 2002~, but it would be likely that anything past there (i.e. OBD2) would have the 139 mph limiter :).

umm

Best mod for a Gen 3 would be a tie between 5-speed swap, and toysrme's "free/cheap mod series" (specifically, the 3vz leaning & timing advance that puts us on par with a 1mz in power, with a nicer powerband, imo)
