After retiring from 25 years as a master Mercedes Benz tech, I bought a 2020 Camry XLE V6 with all options. Now with 19k on the odomete, went to drive to the store and the battery was dead for no apparent reason (battery @ 5.25v) Got a jump start and all seems ok. I suppose something I cannot see did not go to sleep. What may be the common culprits for this issue?

I think the earlier years of gen 8 had an issue with the DCM not turning off. I think TSB-0095-20 is supposed to fix it.

After running your original 603CCA 380LN3-MF battery so low, it may already be sulfated and sustantially deteriorated... Consider replacing with a new H6/L3/48 Group Size battery, usually rated at 730~750CCA.

I also have a 2020 Camry XLE, the battery died after sitting in the driveway for about a week and not going any place. The dealer performed the TSB mentioned above and it hasn't happened since.
