The ones from Corollas should fit yes. The ones from an MR2 will not, they have a different hub. Just make sure it's the correct hub, which is fat and has a flat face with notches at 10 and 2 o'clock. The wrong one is smaller with protrusions at 9 and 3.

BUT the airbag connector will likely be different. You need an adapter. I think this is it, but I can't be 100% sure. Be wary of messing with airbags, they're dangerous. https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Toyota...60/223371932696?epid=671513828&hash=item3402013418:g:~FIAAOSw95lbA6EA:rk:1:pf:0

In my case I got me an Italvolanti Admiral wood version and a correct steering hub... Vintage 1988 AND its the same make and model (only wood version) of the one used in Initial D.... That black leather with a red center pad used in the AE86 is sickly expensive and ultra rare... but in a pinch, the Italvolanti Formel with the correct toyota hub will look like the real thing at a distance, too, just no red center pad but almost.

OK, so what if he simply removes that light bulb?

Then there will probably be a warning chime which won't stop dinging.

But I think once you get rid of the chime, you're golden - unless the state wants to inspect your car...

Sorry to resurrect, but what exactly should I be looking for in terms of an airbag adapter? I'm planning on doing a 12th gen steering wheel swap. The physical fitment of the clock spring / spiral switch looks like it may be a challenge, too.
