haha the side skirts are stock... im actually pleased that the lip and skirts line up almost perfectly, i was afraid it would look bad with just a front on it.

id love to go lower but... IT SNOWS HERE! :lol: this is my only car and I go to school on the west coast so we get hammered over there due to lake effect snow, last year my car left three tracks if we had more than 4 inches of snow- two from tires and one from exhaust:lol: the lip is flush with a can of soda from the ground right now... any lower and im afraid it will be ripped off between the roadkill and snow here in michigan... if i was in cali or something id be slammed on coil overs.

I forgot about the gauge pod... this is a pic before they were wired but they are good to go now. Ill have to get some night shots so you guys see them lit up:

you get a lot of crap for having these from ******** and stupid kids in general... also stupid people try to race you, but i think they are sweet. I dont need any of them, but I have volts, oil pressure, and oil temp. I also installed a fire extinguisher on the floor on the passenger side, Ill get a pic of that up too.

There will be a more complete update soon once everything is on- spoiler installed, trunk dent pulled out, oil pressure gauge fully operational, grille put back on, waxed etc... the car is done for the most part now though. I havent lost interest in the project, Im just trying to look at my options and whats best for me at this point... large modifications are complete.

as if in a cry for more, my passenger side door speaker blew this morning on the way to work :lol: does it ever end??

Hey damon, my old gauges looks great, is that a tan or grey interior? I thought it was grey, but i guess not? If your oil sender is still busted, I supposivly have a replacement coming from autometer for you just btw.

thats true allen, im on H&R sport springs with tokico blues right now... ive honestly thought about something with a lower drop but i havent seen anything with an even drop and that makes me gag when its uneven... atleast the front gap should look lower than the rear if it isnt even. Thats part of the reason no one can tell my car is dropped- its so even.

it really is a great feeling to hear you guys say this about my car... guys like nate, allen, justin etc... youre the ones ive looked up to since day one (not to get all mushy on you guys) but it makes me feel good to get props and feel like a true member of the nation.

as for the camera, i dont remember what my brother has... a nikon something, ill have to ask him today... ive always wanted motion shots, your cars would look uber sweet im sure.

i get off work in a couple hours, im going to fit the grille on tonight. maybe ill even get around to doing the spoiler

 

what would be sweet if you have side skirts and a rear valance and paint it black also ... Man that would set your whole car off ...
but either way much props on a sweet looking project

thanks guys... i agree wraith, i thought about doing some clean sides and the razzi rear lip in black too... but then id just want to go panda top. i saw a wrx in a magnaflow ad with a black kit on a white car and it looked sweet... oh when does it ever end.

jetspeed, i just sat the lip on for those pictures... i havent actually mounted it to the trunk yet. actually im kind of nervous for that:lol:

i wanted the white gauges to match my other whities, they actually all light up the same blue at night... looks hot, ill snap some pics tonight.

im in the process of fitting the grille right now... man is that a bleep!

Man that really looks good, i love the whole black and white theme you got going, and the bronze wheels are a plus 2. Those motion shots are great, i want to get mine shooted with it rolling because i have no idea how it looks since im the only one that drives my car, but im told it looks like my muffler is about to scrape the ground :lol: :lol: . Anyway, the car looks hot, and i love the gauges :thumbsup:
