Can't fix anything if you don't get it scanned.

 

Is this the type of scan they can do at my Auto Zone?

 

Exactly which light came on? If it's the 'maint required', the issue could be as simple as the tech not resetting the maintenance tracker. If it's the 'check engine', then a scan tool would help the car tell you 'where it hurts'.

 

The words on the screen above the mileage say Maintenance Required Contact your dealer. The amber triangle is lit above that.

 

It's been six days and... evidently have not done anything about it?
