When I change oil I do it like in your pic. When i change tire or do brakes I use the jack in the trunk.

 

Place your jack further back under the hump where it's more secure.

 

I usually jack up one side at a time, then place stands under each side for pretty much everything.

I don't like that. You can't jack it up as much from that foremost point. It's not as strong under rad support. Also, if jack slips, it can easily damage A/C condenser or radiator.

 

Yeah subframe bolts, i have a big jack which reaches that far in... i also put a thick piece of cardboard in between so the jack doesn't scrape the undercarriage

 

I put it on the hump behind the tow hook personally. The tow hook will get bent over time if you continue to use it to jack up the vehicle.
