None of those... I use either 95 or 98. 93 is like the min octane we get.

Depends on which car your asking about...

BP/Amaco 87 octane - 95 Camry
BP/Amaco 89 octane - 76 Corvette, 73 Datsun
BP/Amaco 91/93 octane - 74 Honda
Sunoco 110 Av gas - 81 Monty Carlo, 79 Suzuki

At the track the Vette and the Honda also get Av gas ...$5usd/gal.!

 

I live in asia, but heck we get 95 minimum back home in Finland.
BTW, avgas isnt that good to run in a car. Tends to leave alot of carbon deposits.

How else would you run this beast?

Its an NA 406 stroker with a Weiand tunnel ram, dual Demon carbs, Dart heads, RJS 5-gal drag cell w/sump, etc... ...and a narrowed ford 9" rear end. It runs a 10.28 quarter with 5.xx 1/8mi gears on Mickey drag radials. Its faster than most crotch rockets light to light on the street and with wrinkel walls I can lift the front end off the ground.

The Zuk is built the same way (track only)
As for the Vette and the Honda its fine for high hp motors once in a while at the track. We've been using a 93/110 mixture lately when we run our street cars on amature night at the local strip.

At home in canada, 87 in the winter, and 89 in the summer, and 91 if i am heading to the drag strip. almost always sunoco.

in the states, 89 or 91, and usually mobil or the exxon valdez.

My supras typical go lean if i stay with the same octane level once i get to the states. So i ussually go for one grade higher octane.

Now thats what i call a FULL CARD MONTE!

Being a motorcyle buff first, then owning cars later, I have always used mid or high grade Chevron.

I truly believe its a great gasoline.

The only other fuel I have ever used is Trick hehe

 

87 octane here.. I drive on the highway all the time, 150km + a day on weekdays. but if I get the winter beater going soon.. I might change to supreme or even Ultra 94 sunoco just for the GTS.

I usually get 91 cuz Petro Canada is the closest gas station to my house. But some times I will get 94.

89 or 92 Phillips 66, depending on the price. I think my car likes the higher octane, but I don't like paying the premium. 92 is the highest around here, unless you go with the ethanol gas, which my car doesn't seem to enjoy.

 

petro-canada superclean 94...or shell optimax 91 or ultramar 92

 

I use 91 octane on all of my cars. I go to Shell & Chevron only. I used to go to 76 stations but they have MTBE free gas.

Good news is that I think CA will be getting 92 octane again.

Those are Octane level ratings. The long and short of the story is, Octane increases the point at which gasoline ignites making it more stable. Because you're in Belgium, those numbers are probably roughly the equivelant of our 87/89/91/92/94
