Will this shift knob fit my 2005 Corolla XRS

Hello.

Does anybody knows if this shift knob will fit my corolla?

Advertisment says:

But when I try to use the compatibilty tool, it says that it doesn't fit.

I like this shift knob a lot, and I have the idea that a friend had it on a celica GTS, he lend it to me and it was a direct fit, but I'm not quite sure if it is the same model since it just looks like it.

If it fit on a GT-S, it will fit an XRS. The XRS is usually not listed as a matching vehicle as there were so few made I would think. I saw a grille that said it would fit all models of 05-08 corolla...except the XRS...and I had quite a laugh. Basically if it fits an "S" and is an appearance mod, it will fit an XRS

how about the new Toyota 86 TRD gear knob? Anyone has tried it in their XRS?

It looks pretty good, what's the weight?

I'm looking for a heavy weight shift knob, it makes shifting more comfortable.

I would get a short shifter, for sure. And then use the stock shift knob on it.

Yeah...I did that for over a year and hated it. Got a heavy knob from TWM and I'm in love.

I love my TRD black duracon shift knob (on TWM shifter with 2" extension). Its machined finish becomes glossy with use. Duracon is a very hard and durable material, has very little heat/cold transfer, and is hypoallergenic (also used in hip replacements, etc). Feel and functionality is outstanding... There are mostly white ones on Ebay. Here's a good price on a black one:
