gen 5 takes a 24" & 19"

ive tried just about everything on the market and im extremely picky

for good value go with teflon shield blades... the design is almost identical to the new style hybrid blades on most new cars including toyota's

i do recommend a higher quality blade though..... they cost more up front but will perform better and last longer

i would highly recommend bosch icon or valeo 900 series..... they both last a long time and perform very well.... i would slightly prefer the bosch blades because of the looks and they are more availble but the valeo's can be cheaper if u get them on sale

however the best blades ive used so far is OEM toyota hybrid blades..... these can be found on newer toyota's like gen 6 camry, gen 3 prius, gen 3 sienna, ect; perform exellent and have a low profile streamline design that looks great

they are very expensive, however they last a very long time and you can buy rubber refills from the dealer; i have customers come in all the time with original toyota hybrid blades and the car is easily over 3 years old so they are well made

I buy the simple rubber inserts at the parts counter and find they last 2-3 years before they need replacement. If you don't have the original arms you may need to replace the whole assembly.

Can you guys steer us in the direction for high quality wipers for our Gen 5s? So the Gen 6 wipers are premium? I just want wipers that wipe the windows dry as if it never rained. My old Volvo had some great wipers

The OEM Gen 6 wiper blades are Amazing. I put OEM Gen 10 Corolla wipers on my 9th gen. They lasted almost 70k miles. And the replacement rubber was only 11 bucks for both blades.

My OEM blades on my Gen 6 lasted 3 years on the driver side, and 3 years 2 months for the passenger side. 36K miles driver, 38K miles passenger. I just recently had to replace them (At 40K+ miles now) The rubber strip started coming off at the same place on both. I tried using gorilla glue to put the strip back onto the blade, and it worked great for a week but then the glue was unable to hold the rubber anymore. I wish the glue would have worked better as there was absolutely nothing wrong with the rubber part that touched the windshield. It would still wipe away water like as if it was new when I had glued it back on. I just didn't feel like having to re-glue it every week.

I replaced them with Rain-X latitudes as those have been my favorite among my previous vehicles. They were cheap off of Amazon and I was able to get them with free shipping (Aunt has a Prime account) I think the drive side was about $16 and the passenger was about $12. (Compared to $26 and $22 plus tax from the local auto parts store)

My mom has the Latitudes on her 2005 Avalon and they are 2 and a half years old and still work like new.
