Alright, here's a little story about my car. It was a hand me down 80K miles on it, hated it for a good while...I've always wanted a STi. When I graduate college, I plan to purchase one as a grad present to myself. So, the car has 160k miles on it...and I thought to myself "This car has been so reliable for me, I'm going to stick with it" Now, I'm in love with the camry and really want to set it apart from the rest of the camrys drivin around here in Vegas! Tryin to be original, at least in vegas. :D

So far this is what I've done:

Black emblem (Front)
LED (Map lights, dome, glove box, trunk and license plate)
Eibach springs

To do:
BC Coilovers
17x9 +25 Wheels 235/40
Vibrant muffler
TRD center caps
Seafoam the engine, for the first time.
Red Vinyl for the reverse light on the tails

Since you're still in college my advice is leave the car alone. Have fun and enjoy college. Save your cash for your STi.[/QUO Best reply yet

Will eventually debadge, but the HIDS and fogs will be the last mods for me.

I've thought long about this, I have a good looking car. I want to set it apart from the rest and be original. The STi will come when it comes...I want a good lookin car, and want people to question "That's a camry?". Honestly, when it's all said and done it'll cost about $2k. Sure, I could save that $2k for the STi, but if I save all the time won't have time to enjoy anything. I'm pretty much set on makin this camry one clean ride. :) Thanks though.

Thanks for the springs BlackG5 :D

If you want people to say "that's a Camry?" get rid of the emblems so they have to think harder :D

Can you take a pic of the whole back end from a distance?? I'd of left the reverse clear for safety reasons... And another of my opiinions, i with the colour of your car, the tails would have looked better with a smoked tint

I hate smoked lights, oh and I only covered the white part lol It's a risk, but it looks nice...I would take a picture of my whole rear end, but I have a huge dent on the trunk. Hit and run at a parking lot lol. Once the wheels come in, getting everything I need painted.

Looks good but I cringe whenever I see people plastidip/black paint their hubcaps. Might as well go steelies all the way.

^^ me too, but they are so damn expensive. My bro bought a brand new 07 sti, $32k... but then every 30k miles it needs to be serviced - diff fluids, tranny fluid, spark plugs... not to mention the OEM tires last about 10k miles, and the OEM brake pads lasted about 25k, AND the mod bug hits harder when you can do an exhaust + tune and gain 80whp/100wtq

then once you've got 300whp for a few months, or maybe less, you'll want MOAR powerrrr haha... it never stops.

Well, the wheels won't come on till late early August...so going to get some HIDs. 6k diamond blue, mostly white with a hint of blue. Then going to get fogs installed, going to the cut the bumper...wish me luck! Oh and going to get the vizage front lip...will post pics as I install them

Ohhh ok i thought you found an authentic one. Was just curious.

The guy i got mine off of had the same colour car as you lol.. i sanded it down and painted it myself..was a hell of a job! Mine is authentic, and only had to pay 100 bucks.

As a tip: Put the lip on with the fog lights out, then install the foglights.. it'll help hold the lip on (use clamps too) but if you try to put it on with the fogs in, it'll chip the paint and be a very very tight fit.

Lol yeah, didn't he have the full vizage kit? He was one of the few bagged gen5s. Lucky bastard! :p

Thanks for the tip! I was actually going to install the fogs first....but now I'll install the lip first.
