Hello fellow Toyota owners

I have a 2006 Camry LE V6 I just recently bought used a month ago. Car has been running great. The radiator started a small leak last Sunday which I replaced with a new unit yesterday. After the radiator change I couldn't install the small hard plastic intake tube without removing the battery. After I installed the tube I hooked up the battery and as soon as I did, the alarm went off. So unhooked it again to shut the alarm. Now my issue is I got the car with no remote fob (one of the items on my list to get for the car) and the 1 factory key I got with the car will not turn ccw in the drivers door-lock to lock the doors it only turns cw to unlock (because of this I have been using the button inside the door to lock the car when getting out).
There is a red button to the left of the steering wheel that blinks with the alarm going off with all the lights on the dash.
I did try leaving the door open putting the key in the ignition and turning it to ON and then hooking up the battery. Doing it this way the alarm does not go off. When I get in the car that red button on the left side blinks consistently then with the key still in ON position I turn it to start and the car fires right up but the red button stays blinking and it goes into a 3 blink at a time mode with the car running and door closed. If I shut off the car and open the door the alarm goes off again.
I tried turning the key to ON and off 5 times with the door closed and it doesn't make a difference.

Any help on resetting the system?

I disconnected one of the horns so its not loud but enough that I can hear it if it goes off. Right now the battery is hooked up, hood is shut (horn sounded 3 times when I did this) and I locked and closed the door and walked away from it. So far alarm hasn't sounded. Hoping that it will reset itself after seating with the battery hooked up.

Looked at the videos. There is nothing on the hood latch. there is a plunger type switch on the passenger side of the engine bay that goes down when you close the hood. I end up taking the covers below the steering wheel off and taking the alarm module out. Part number on it is 00012-KU106. Is there anyway to reset the alarm with the red button?

Thanks
