Hi, I just wanted to know what can I fo or get to make my ride softer. I drive a lot on GTA Toronto roads and the stiff suspension isn't comfortable for long rides on my 2020 Corolla SE. I checked for air-suspension systems and stuff but there are performance suspensions only.

any idea or advice about this issue???

Or should've just bought an L/LE/XLE or Hybrid to begin with...honestly, find another Corolla or even Prius owner or with 16s and trade tires.

People now seem to buy cars like they buy toilet paper. This is the second most expensive purchase most people will make and something that you will be using daily for years and they don't take the time to test drive it.

When I buy any vehicle I know more about it than the salesman. I will read the forums to see what owners are saying, watch YouTube reviews and read the downloadable owner's manual to see how the features work and the maintenance requirements. Most of all I take a long test drive of the car I plan to purchase.

When I bought the Camry I test drove an LE and the SE to see which one I preferred. I chose the SE because it handles better and I like the look of it better. Since I bought it used I also checked for accident damage, oil quantity and quality, air filter and for leaks. I got the Camry because I my other car was totaled so no choice when I bought it but I usually buy vehicles in the summer. I live in the south so A/C performance is a high priority and can be a deal breaker if it's weak. If you live in the north I suggest buying in the middle of winter to see how the heat and defrosters work.

Also, don't let salesman push you into certain vehicles. My salesman was pushing V6 models probably as a youngish man I would be interested in the power and speed of the V6. Normally he would be right but the Camry is my daily work car so I wanted a 4 cylinder only. I drive about 90 miles round trip everyday so fuel economy and low maintenance costs were more important.

Thanks for the

well I dont know about the tire psi but I will mention to the dealer about that. I will definitely change tires when they are done. For winter I will get a 15" wheel and the most comfortable and silent tires that I can get. Price doesn't matter. It's my first car and all I realised after 1,5 years and 63k km of ownership that I need 3 things only. Silence (dead silence), comfort, and engine power. I realized that I don't care about technology or about it being used or new.

if you have any ideas about soft tires or suspension please let me know.

I mean, I went from a brand new bagged Lexus back to a corolla and have no complaints, even with the stiffer suspension I've added.

Sometimes I think people just need to learn to avoid pot holes, and slow down over speed bumps and such. I think a lot of problems is how people drive.
Avoid? Nah. Power through! (you can't tell me people can't see this)

That looks like New Jersey or at least the NE. I'm not surprised. Two things happen in this video. 1: people are following to closely, to not see the pothole until its to late. 2: People are idiots and not looking at the road. These people need to learn to ride a motorcycle (properly), and I promise much of their driving habits will be cleaned up with in a week. lol
