wireless charger in 2019 Avalon - remove for more storage space?

I have no need for the wireless charger; is there some empty space underneath it without a lot of wiring junk in the way?
I could craft 4 walls if necessary to keep stuff from getting out of reach.
Anyone got the trim removal instructions for how to get it out?

Well, as I posted with the link, the factory component is $496. I doubt there is any market for a used wireless charger. Unlike many electrical components, this one seems in stock, so no shortage to drive up the price of a used unit. I'd say chances of selling one used is just about nil, and certainly no where near the new price.

I'm still wishing that cubby was a little deeper, but not so much as to make me try to remove it. Oddly, the lid is rather thick. I wonder if some component is inside it? It's about 3/4" thick on the right side, which catches on my sunglasses.

It'd just sit around for $40 like with what people did with their old stereo head units that no one wants.

I have a strap for my Longines wristwatch from AliExpress and the quality is excellent. IF there is a charger, that can be put into that space, and connect to the Toyota harness, that would be impressive. On the other hand, I can't see them failing either, at least not for a long time. (mine is unused)

I also wish that covered area was slightly deeper, the door hangs on my sunglasses. I miss the pop down sunglass storage my Lincoln had. But I seriously doubt that the charger is easily removable. I also have no use for it, as my phone has a case over it, and it won't charge thru that. (and the Pro-Clip dash mount).
