It depends on the brand and the type of tint.
Lowest price = dyed
Mid-range = metallic
Top end = ceramic.

Sure you can go to one of those $100 tint job places, but they'll use a cheap dyed tint that will turn purple (good dyed tint has warranty against this) and especially in the rear window, bubble up because it has a weak adhesive.

 

I had my 2020 Avalon done today. I'm in Texas, where summers are hot, and only getting hotter. I admit that I got "the works" on mine, including a clear ceramic tint on the windshield (SolarGard Ultra Performance Plus 80), SolarGard 30/20 RS on the windows, and 10% MR (really dark) on the sunroof. Windshield was $175; sunroof was $50; windows (which most people probably get) was $349. Everything comes with a lifetime warranty, which is, to me, important. My car also looks sharper!

 

PS: The $349 was 4 windows plus the rear windshield. Again, my car is new, so the lifetime warranty was worth it to me. As someone else said, my next car may be a hearse, so I wanted this one to be nice!

Just had our sedan tinted in TX last week. $174 out the door. 5% on the rear windows and 30% on the front. Lifetime warranty.

 

Anywhere from about $150-600 depending on who you go to and what film they use.

The thing is window tint is not something you want to cheap out on. There are lots of idiots out there doing hackjobs and using poor quality film. And some mistakes made by a idiot are hard to fix.
