hello everyone,
I have 09 Camry SE V6. I need to change front Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly.
I was told that 2 companies is the way to go (Timken or Moog).
I'm not sure which way I should go?

Moog Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly Front

or I can get all separably

Moog Hub -

Timken Wheel Bearing and put it together, or if anyone got better suggestion I'm all ears.

Please let me know if anyone got any ideas, thank you

Agree. From the last one (inifnity g35) I did for my cousin, I got the Timken assembly. I saw bearing assembly, bearing, and hub assembly. The price diff for bearing assembly and hub assembly was about 100 each side. I got the hub assembly because I could do in 30 mins after watching the video for that model. If you get the bearing assembly, can have it pressed outside for 20-30 each side. I took the quick and sure way. I will try the press out and in with the same used part. No problem if I mess up what is ready to throw away. Can use this for near future replacement on the corolla.

Those cheap assemblies is a hit or miss. It is much like Sensen stuts in comparison ...

I think I am going to buy a press from Harbor Freight. With knuckle work on my kid's CR-V, my Tacoma and coming up on my Camry, just seems like the right thing to do. Then I can press my own hubs, control arm bushings, whatevs.

The harbor freight press is absolute garbage in my experience. I'm a Lexus Technician, and I needed a press for my home garage. I got that one, and it tends to leak from the valve, the metal rod it comes with is terrible, and the structure isn't very strong. I ended up scraping it and buying a good one from one of the tool dealers I deal with at work.

I thought of that too. This is what the guy used to show the bearing assembly on to hub for the rear wheel bearing on infinity g35 on yt. I pressed out-in big bushing on honda van lca with rented ball joint press kit from auto parts. I think the hub is doable with that too. Just need the right size spacer. Will try it out.

Do you have the space for this though? This was kinda big, tall.

Yeah, I can make room for it. One of my many projects I have on the to-do-list is to expand off the back of my garage to make two storage sheds: one for wheelbarrows and ladders and such (I do all my home repair/remodeling too), the other an internal opened extra space for crap to store, so my garage is more open for working in it.

Hi guys, thank you for you replys. When i asked that question i didnt do much looking, all i knew is that someone recommended those brands. Now im looking for Timken, Moog front wheel hub and bearing assemble for 09 Camry and just cant find it. All the Timkens that i found are Rear or front but for 02-05. Will some one please show me where do i look for it ? eBay has just Timken bearings but not hub. I really don't what to buy set for $50 so it could break on me is short time.

I got the assembly from Amazon and/or ebay (which ever worked out better). Pepboys does have SKF but is more expensive than online route. Not sure which stores have Timken locally. Oreilly has or can order Moog.

I would stick to Timken. Moog is more hit or miss.

Why do you need the hub? Usually damage is only to the bearing itself.

The part numbers for all the bearings can be found here:

As for where to buy, check eBay and Rockauto. I found an OEM Koyo bearing on eBay for super cheap when I did my 2009 Camry bearing.
speaking of Koyo, would this hub and bearing assembly be good? seems like the whole thing is made by Koyo.. not sure how genuine it is though

Good catch hardtop, I forgot to ask if replacing bearing or assembly for a reason. Been working on the toyota and infiniti just 2 weeks back which is a mix and thought nothing of it. Been working on the rear ones.

I think I got my Koyo bearing few months back from NAPA locally. I think it still sitting in my drawer waiting to be installed and was 10 more than I could have gotten online.

Rear Wheel Bearing Hub

Hello. I have an '02 Camry LE 4cyl. I need the rear wheel hub bearing assembly only and non ABS. I found Timken (HA596030),Moog, and SKF on Amazon but not NTN. I also found WJB that cross references Timken,Moog and SKF (WJB:$62 SKF:$68 Timken:$109 Moog:$97). Question is: how good is WJB?

I went shopping around and saw autozone had the timken complete assembly, hub and bearing, so i guess I"ll be going with that after what I"ve read it's better than moog? There's also a National bearing available at the parts stores, it says it's made by moog and from federal mogul, but it's just the bearing itself, how are national wheel bearings? Should I just replace both fronts and the hub as well as the bearing, since I heard the bearing was really hard to get out, but pressing it in is easier, but you can have a shop do it, bring the part to a shop, they'll presss it in, then you install it

http://www.amazon.com/Timken-HA5903...ie=UTF8&n=15684181&newVehicle=1&s=automotive&vehicleId=1&vehicleType=automotive

Is this one the right one, and it's a similar price to autozone's and autozone and the other places give a 1 or 3 yr warranty (no lifetime) but autozone's timken was a 3 year.

Was told by belle tire yesterday my left driver side front wheel bearing was bad, but i was told the passenger side was bad last year, so should I just replace both?
